The civil construction of the largest pools for the waterpark is complete. Civil construction for the Wave Pool, a large dual wave pool that will produce 8 different wave variations and designed with a stage in the center were performance acts can be viewed from either in the water or along the 120m long beach area.
The Lazy River will be the center piece of Ramayana Water Park, it will be 800 meters longs and have a number of different sections including a wave section, a torrent river section, caves and waterfalls plus 2 beach entry sections. The civil works on the Jacuzzi pool with bar and the 70 meter activity pool are also complete. 8,990 tons of concrete has been used and these pools will hold a total of more than 7,500 cubic meter of water.
Construction of Ramayana Water Park continues!
We have now completed our entry road and the main retaining wall at the back of our site. We are now completing the the leveling of the site which has been a major project as we have worked hard to maintain the beautiful contours of the site under the strict guidance of our lead Architect. We have now begun sculpting the site in preparation of our main construction works.
The Ramayana Water Park ground breaking ceremony was held on Saturday 5th November. The event was a very tradition Thai ceremony offering good luck and fortune to the waterpark project.
The event was attended by local media and along with the Ramayana Water Park team, project designers and engineers, the follow list of VIP guests where present:

Ramayana Water Park held its official signing ceremony with WhiteWater West Industries on April 8th 2011 at the Inter Continental Hotel in Bangkok. Attending the ceremony was Chumpol Silapa-archa, the Minister of Tourism and Sports Thailand who gathered with Ramayana Water Park and WhiteWater West Industries representatives. The event was hosted by Panadda Wongphudee - a former Miss Thailand and Chumpol Silpa-archa, Alan Mahony, Ramayana Water Park & Andrew Wray, WhiteWater West Industries gave presentations to the 80+ media present for the event.
